SEO Content Writer

Position Summary

MyAdvice is seeking a creative, organized, and self-motivated writer and editor to join our content team. This dual role is responsible for creating and editing high-quality, engaging website content that drives traffic, increases customer engagement, and educates readers on specific procedures or services. The role involves leveraging AI tools to generate initial drafts and refining them into clear, accurate, and SEO-optimized content aligned with brand standards.

Responsibilities

• Create and edit website pages, blogs, and supporting web content
• Use AI tools to generate first drafts and refine them to final quality
• Optimize content using SEO best practices
• Edit and proofread content for clarity, grammar, and consistency
• Manage multiple content deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Implement feedback and revisions efficiently
• Collaborate with Customer Success Managers and internal teams
• Submit and manage content via internal content platforms

Required Skills & Experience

• 2–3 years of professional writing and editing experience
• Strong command of English grammar, tone, and structure
• Proven ability to self-edit and proofread content
• Experience writing SEO-focused web content
• Strong research and organizational skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Google Docs

Preferred Skills

• Understanding of SEO principles and keyword optimization
• Experience writing or editing content for medical, aesthetic, or legal industries
• Familiarity with generative AI tools for content creation
• Experience working with CMS platforms (WordPress/Drupal preferred)
• Experience managing clients or workflows using CRMs

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, or related field (preferred)
• Submission of 3–5 writing samples required (a portfolio of your work is preferred)

This is not a research-heavy academic or journalistic writing role. This role does not focus on social media, email marketing, print media, or offline content creation.

Position Details

• Base Salary: $50k USD 
• Position Type: Full-time, Exempt 
• Schedule: Monday-Friday, typical business hours based on your time zone
  • For example: 7am-3pm, 8am-4pm or 9am-5pm plus 0-60 minutes for a lunch break per employee preference and manager’s approval
  • During training, you'll be required to match your manager's schedule after which you can adopt your preferred, approved schedule. 
• Work Locations: This position can be remote, hybrid or in-office depending on candidate preference and location. MyAdvice has an office in Lehi, Utah. 
• Travel: May require occasional local or national travel (less than 5% of the time).
• Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer (90% at desk, 10% of time walking); Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and use typical office equipment (computers, keyboards, printer, etc.).
