Client Onboarding Specialist

MyAdvice's Client Onboarding Specialist owns a portfolio of new client implementations, guiding each account from sale through successful launch. This is a specialist-level role: you manage your own workload independently, make tactical decisions within established playbooks, and deliver on-time, high-quality outcomes. You will adopt and integrate AI-powered tools into your daily workflows to increase speed, consistency, and quality.
The ideal candidate communicates clearly with technical and non-technical audiences, takes ownership of outcomes rather than waiting for direction, and looks for ways to improve the system, not just complete the next task.
Essential Duties
Client Onboarding and Project Management
- Own a portfolio of client onboarding projects. Develop project plans with clear scope, milestones, and deadlines.
- Serve as the primary client contact from sale through launch, building trust through consistent follow-through.
- Resolve technical challenges with internal teams. Own the client experience even when the fix depends on someone else.
- Document all notable client interactions, configurations, and issues for handoff to Customer Success.
Product Knowledge and Client Education
- Become a subject matter expert on the MyAdvice product suite, including website buildouts, platform integration, and dynamic data functionality.
- Educate clients on product features and conduct detailed account walkthroughs that emphasize value, not just configuration steps.
- Translate technical requirements into clear instructions for design and development teams.
AI Integration and Tool Adoption
- Use AI-powered tools (content generation, project coordination, data analysis, client communication) as part of your standard workflow.
- Identify opportunities where AI tools can reduce manual effort, improve accuracy, or accelerate client delivery.
- Contribute to the team's evolving AI practices by sharing what works, flagging what does not, and adapting as tools improve.
- You are responsible for accuracy and client-readiness of every deliverable, regardless of how it was produced.
Process Improvement
- Gather client feedback and identify patterns that point to workflow improvements. Recommend changes to playbooks, templates, and documentation.
- Contribute to cross-functional process improvement when onboarding bottlenecks involve other teams.
Required Skills
- Flawless use of English, both written and spoken. This role requires clear, professional client communication daily.
- Manages multiple complex projects simultaneously without losing detail.
- Collaborates effectively with cross-functional teams (design, development, customer success) across time zones.
- Adapts when priorities shift; makes independent decisions within a defined framework.
Preferred Skills
- Professional project management experience, including use of project management platforms (Planhat, ClickUp, or similar).
- Familiarity with web technologies: HTML, WordPress, Google Workspace tools.
- Experience with digital marketing platforms: Google Analytics, Google Ads, Google Business Profile.
- Prior experience working US hours from an international location.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or related field; or equivalent professional experience.
- 3+ years in a client-facing, project management, or product adoption role. Experience with setup and implementation of digital products is strongly preferred.
- High-speed internet connection to support remote work and continuous video calls during US business hours.
- Ability to maintain a consistent US Eastern Time schedule (9:00 AM - 6:00 PM ET, Monday through Friday).
- Legally authorized to work in India.
Position Details
- Base Salary: ₹7-11 LPA, based on experience and qualifications.
- Position Type: Full-time, Salaried
- Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9am-6pm EST (7:30pm-4:30am IST)
- Work Locations: This position is fully remote to start, but there is the chance this position will be called back to the office in Bangalore. We will prioritize candidates that are located in Bangalore or willing to relocate there.
- Travel: May require occasional local or national travel (less than 5% of the time, if at all).
- Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer (90% at desk, 10% of time walking); Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and use typical office equipment (computers, keyboards, printer, etc.).
