Our Search Engine Optimization Specialists are responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive strategies that focus on consistent, long term organic results. This role focuses on the technical side of SEO utilizing industry standard audit and analysis tools. SEO Specialists are expected to be aware of and versed in current industry trends and determine which may be applicable to the MyAdvice client base. This position is responsible for regular communication with internal teams, providing strategy to ultimately drive our clients' traffic and conversions while adhering to SEO best practices.

Our ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of keyword research, technical SEO best practices, and the behaviors of search engines. They can quickly understand and support initiatives that will contribute to the goals and success of client campaigns. SEO is an ever-changing landscape, so our specialist needs to be continuously learning and adapting. The ideal candidate is a thought leader, someone who will bring new ideas to the table, and spread passion for data and SEO throughout the team. They will not only guide individual client campaigns, but also continually help us refine our processes and services to maximize scalability. Essential Duties

  • On-site technical coding including URL structure, meta tags, structured data, etc. on CMS's including WordPress and Drupal
  • Ongoing campaign performance assessment against designated client goals which may be traffic and/or lead based (MOM, QOQ, YOY)
  • Advise on goal definition and refinement throughout campaign life cycle
  • Keyword research and competitive analysis
  • Keeping current with industry changes and information, specifically SE algorithms and Google best practices
  • Being an expert resource for the Client Success Teams on SEO related client deliverables/campaigns
  • Collaboration with SEO team members focused on identifying methods and processes that will positively impact the entire client base with improved performance and enhanced positioning 

Required Skills + Experience

  • Working knowledge of HTML/CSS basics
  • Intermediate to advanced experience using Google Search Console (including Index Coverage reports), Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager
  • Solid grasp of the digital marketing landscape, not limited to local presence, on-site content, off-site content, citations, YouTube, reputation management and more
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communications skills, demonstrate a high degree of professionalism, and show strong attention to detail
  • Must have the ability to multi-task and effectively communicate status to team members
  • Experience using Ahrefs, SEMrush, Moz, Screaming Frog, Lumar, and similar tools
  • Successfully manage high client volume and task type on a weekly basis
  • Training to our specific protocols will be provided but we require a candidate that can demonstrate a solid knowledge and understanding of growth focused SEO principles and strategy

Qualifications 

  • Minimum 5 years direct experience managing and implementing SEO campaigns 
  • Google Analytics certification
  • Degree in Marketing or a related field preferred preferred
  • High speed internet connection to facilitate a remote working environment
  • Willing to relocate to Bangalore once we set up an office space
  • Legally authorized to work in the India
